According to Hindu mythology Lord Ganesh is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesha is portrayed with an elephant’s head on a human body. 

He is the lord of wisdom and intelligence prosperity and good fortune. He is also considered the God of beginnings and the remover of obstacles by devotees.

Eco-friendly Shadu Mati Ganpati:

Our Ganesha Idols are sourced from artisans who have been traditionally making Shaddu Matti Ganeshas since decades. These Ganeshas are completely hand made with love and care and dried naturally and then painted. In each idol, you can see the effort and varied skill of the artists based on devotion and fervour of the artist.

Shadu is a kind of clay found in the riverbank, mostly in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Konkan region.
Shadu Clay is a traditional medium of making Ganesha idols. Shaddu idols are worshipped in Maharashtra since a century. Idols made of Shadu Mati can be immersed (Visarjan) at home in a bucket or tub. Post Visarjan Shaddu Matti can be used to plant saplings.
